Protecmedia was founded in 1975 with a view to adapting the advances made in computing and electronics to the needs of publishing and media companies. In 1979, it was formally set up as a company. A clear sign of its commitment to the sector is the fact that all of the company's founding members  are still on the Board of Directors. In terms of innovation, Protecmedia has been a sectoral leader throughout its history.
