The La Prensa Gráfica from El Salvador is now on iPad, iPhone and Android devices, thus allowing its readers to enjoy the news in this new format. Through the viewers developed by Protecmedia, the El Salvador newspaper can take advantage of all of the visual possibilities of these devices when offering news items on both tablets and smartphones.
After the first few editions of these new digital versions, the newspaper’s management is very satisfied with the results. According to Álvaro Sagrera, technology director of La Prensa Gráfica: “I believe that being present on the digital mobile platforms is the way forward. Through these media, our printed editorial products reach more readers, not only local, but also regional.”
Using Protecmedia’s viewers, La Prensa Gráfica can offer its readers a greatly enriched reading experience, with the possibility of including videos, audio galleries and other audiovisual and design elements which convert the newspaper into a live element. “The reaction of our readers has been excellent from the outset.
