The Swiss group SPN SA modernises its editorial and advertising systems with Protecmedia’s solutions

The Swiss group SPN SA has carried out a modernisation of its systems, both at an editorial and advertising level, in order to adapt to the sector’s current needs. As a result, the group’s publications now boast the most up-to-date tools, enabling them to continue offering the best content to their readers and the best support to their advertisers.

The two main publications of the SPN SA group are two free weeklies, GHI and Lausanne Cités, particularly the former, which now has a circulation of 260,000 copies, being the most important free publication in French-speaking Switzerland.

In both cases, as with the other titles, a renovation has taken place at both the editorial and advertising level. Thus, all of the publications now have a modern newsroom which allows them to have workflows in all of the integrated areas, in order to simplify and facilitate the tasks. This means a better use of resources and more effective work, since all professionals use the same interface to carry out their work.

This simplicity and effectiveness has also been transferred to the advertising area. Now the whole process which ends with the advertisement being placed in its chosen space is quicker, and is carried out without having to duplicate processes or tasks, which saves time and simplifies the production of publications.
